Ciao! Italian truly is a beautiful language. Addio is a goodbye used only when it's a final goodbye. It translates literally to "to God". That's just one example of how dramatic they are haha. Apparently as I speak I have a pretty good Italian accent, according to the Italian in my district. His mom over Skype said I was doing really good too. The gift of tongues is so real. The temple is closed for the entirety of my stay at the mtc but I got to go clean the temple for 3 and a half hours today. We play hacky sack a lot as a district and after four hits you can catch it and throw it at someone. It's really fun. We have 3 hours of class at a time and two of those classes with a couple hours in between every day. That seemed like a lot but those 3 hours don't even feel like 1. Studying the language is a lot of fun and SYL (speak your language), where you basically try to say as much as possible in the language you're learning, really helps a lot. All is well in the Provo MTC but I'm dying to go to Italy and meet real people.

Since I have a phone I can read emails at any time but I can only reply on Fridays. My companion takes a lot of pictures so I got mine from him. I got my shoes and I just need to figure out how to cut the insoles. I got the other Amazon stuff too and I love it. I'm doing laundry rn and it sucks doing laundry here haha. I got to consecrate oil and anoint a blessing. Lessons are going great. I can now give a 12 minute lesson entirely in Italian. We have a lot of fun here and we're always busy. I bore my testimony in Italian to random people walking around campus as an assignment for class. I gave it to native Spanish speakers and they understood what I was saying and it was super cool. Exercise time is fun and I'm not sure if I mentioned this but every night and morning we all do as many pushups as we can. Then we do a bunch of sit-ups. My teachers are amazing and they remind me of Paige and Maddie. I learned tons of the Italians sign language. I learned things like I'll kill you and that's sneaky and we have to go and I don't care about what you're saying haha. I have to go to the bathroom after literally every meal... This food screws you up man😂. Talk to you guys next week!

The mtc is so hectic but I'm loving the Italian language. Mio collega is super cool and outgoing and I think he's starting to warm up to me as a friend rather than his best friend he came to the mtc with. The gift of tongues is so true its insane how much I'm learning. The days are long but that's because we're always busy. I'll have more to say later because it's only my third day haha. Ho molto amore per mio famiglia e amici. La chiesa di Gesù cristo e vera. Arrivaderci! Until next time!

So I made it. Someone accidentally took my luggage and I've been praying about that but other than that I'm safe and I'm in my district and met my first companion!! I love you guys
